Pyroacid Company of Hebei Jingye Group is a private enterprise engaged in metallurgy while undertaking chemical, carbonization, power generation, entertainment industries. The group has total assets of US $450 million and fixed assets of US $180 million. It employs 5,680 workers, of whom 930 are technicians with intermediate or senior professional titles. Currently there are three 450 m3 blast furnaces, two 580 m3 blast furnaces, one 600 thousand t/y cokeoven plant and the affiliated coal washery. Every day 1,654×104Nm3 blast furnace gas is generated.
